An instruction file is a Markdown file your agents already read: CLAUDE.md in a repository, ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md or ~/.codex/AGENTS.md in a home directory. Mana registers each file as a local source and captures its revisions, so what one agent is told is what every agent can read.
A local source is registered once and synced on demand by an operator; the file stays where it is and Mana keeps its bytes, its revisions, and its provenance. The Library lists what a sync captured under records/.
This import is set up from the command line today. Settings shows whether it is connected.
No import starts from Settings yet. Ask on the support form at the end of Settings and a Mana operator connects it once; Settings then shows it as connected.
